Novelties and improvements – December 2016

Different formats of time/date enabled. New employee notification published on first work day. Separated date of discharging employee from blocking access to emplo. Added list of user defined termination reasons. Added ‘archived’ status in surveys. Disabling comments under articles in knowledge base available. Implemented several improvements in request module.

USER DEFINED TIME AND DATE FORMATS

Especially for our clients from around the world, we implemented the option of changing date and time format that will be visible in the whole system. In the admin mode, in the Settings / Regional settings section you can choose from:

  • 24/12 hour format
  • 8 most popular date settings

The changes are automatically propagated into all system reports.

NEW EMPLOYEE NOTIFICATION

Notifications about new employees are being sent on their first work day and not as soon as they are added to the system.

DISCHARGING EMPLOYEE

While discharging employee, the administrator is now able to set up two important timestamps:

 

    • date of discharge – since when the employee’s status changes to ‘Discharged’ and is searchable only for administrators,
    • date of blocking access to emplo – this can be sooner or the same as the day of discharge

Furthermore, we created a system library for termination reasons where you can edit or add your own categories.

NEWSFEED BELLS AND WHISTLES

Besides the blazing fast loading times, the cherry on top of our newsfeed is our new post loading animation – doesn’t it look great? 🙂

MANAGING FINISHED SURVEYS

We added a new type of status for surverys – archived. From now on your finished surveys are still visible and it is you who decides whether they should be moved to the archive or not.

TURNING OFF COMMENTS IN KNOWLEDGE BASE

While creating an article for your knowledge base, you can now disable the comments.

IMPROVEMENTS IN REQUESTS MODULE

The list of requests is now sorted by popularity – on top of it you will find the most frequently submitted forms in your company.

To each question we can also add an attachment which can be downloaded by the requester while filling in the form.

Each request form has now an optional field – Preview. Requesters can leave there comments which are visible on the list of all submitted requests. This would dramatically improve searching through sent applications.

Furthermore, all historical data for request forms is now available in XLS reports. Even if a request template had been modified (added or removed fields), the report will include all historical data.

We also included user comments to both the reports and the printouts.
