Environment is a snapshot of the user’s organization – their own personal branch of the organization. The superiors, peers (people, who have the same manager), and subordinates, are shown in three different levels.
People named Outside of team are those who are not part of the user’s immediate environment. It’s important to note that only the activities of people in the who are part of the user’s Environment show up in the News Feed.
If you want to follow the activities of people from outside of Your environment – add them to the Outside the team tab.
